Interviewer: Good day Mrs Jacobs, can you tell me about yourself?
La Cook Lagos: Good day, as you stated earlier my name is Olubukola Jacobs I am a married woman with kids. An international certified caterer and an event planner.
Interviewer: What was your growing up like?
La Cook Lagos: I grew up in the heart of Lagos. I was born and brought up in Festac town in a military house hold. Had my primary education at command children school, and my secondary education at Command Secondary School. I bagged my degree in Business Administration from the prestigious University of Lagos.
Interviewer: What drives you into catering and events?
La Cook Lagos: I have always loved cooking and I am very good at it and I also enjoy organizing house parties and school functions right from my childhood days. So I decided to follow my passion into my full time job of creativity and embellishing myself with craftsmanship of designs in décor, catering, baking and successful planning of events.
Interviewer: Are you a certified USA caterer?
La Cook Lagos: I will say yes because the sister company in the United State is fully certified.
Interviewer: The name L’A COOK LAGOS what is the idea behind it?
La Cook Lagos: The name L’A COOK has always been my nickname right from my teenage years because I loved cooking, everyone started Nicknaming me La’ Cook so when I decided I want to make this my full time business after my masters and there is no employment opportunities I chose to adopt the name I was already known by, and the Lagos was my current location when I thought of establishing.
Interviewer: Do you plan to open a restaurant in the future?
La Cook Lagos: Yes, that’s my dream for several years now
Interviewer: What is the relationship between LA COOK LAGOS and IMORAN MEDIA CONCEPT / EVENTS MANAGEMENT?
La Cook Lagos: IMORAN MEDIA CONCEPTS is the sister company of LA COOK in the United State of America. The two companies are into the same business. I am the CEO of La Cook Lagos, while my sister inlaw the famous Nigerian American Lady Ranti Jacobs Agbaminoja is the CEO iMoran Media Concepts and Events Management. We both do lots of collaborations to lift one another and our businesses.
